Rex Lease was studying to be a minister when he was attracted to acting.
At age 21 he went to Hollywood, working for several years as an extra before playing romantic lead roles in several mysteries.
In this 1937 western, he plays a romantic cowboy who is investigating the disappearance of a miner friend.
